LumeLink FAQs

LumeLink is designed to be simple to use: connect one end to your computer via USB-C, and the other end to your device that you want to debug. The LumeLink will automatically intercept UART signals from the SBU1/SBU2 pins, allowing you to monitor communication without specialized equipment.

LumeLink works with any standard serial terminal software. We recommend programs like PuTTY, Screen, or Minicom. The device shows up as a standard serial port on your computer, typically at a baud rate of 115200.

If your LumeLink isn't being recognized:

Ensure you're using a quality USB-C cable
Try a different USB port on your computer
Check if you need to install FTDI drivers (available on our website)
Verify that the device is properly connected on both ends

ChargeLink FAQs

ChargeLink utilizes a unique signal modulation technique that allows data to be transmitted through standard charging pins. The device connected to your computer via USB-C sends specially encoded signals through the USB-A port, which your device can interpret as firmware data during the bootloader phase.

ChargeLink works with devices that:

Have a USB-A charging port
Run firmware that's compatible with our flashing protocol
Are in our supported devices list (check our documentation)

For custom firmware flashing, you may need to implement our protocol in your device's bootloader.

If your firmware update was interrupted:

Don't disconnect your device
Try running the update process again
If that fails, put your device in recovery mode (consult device documentation)
Use the ChargeLink recovery tool in our software

Most devices have failsafe mechanisms to prevent permanent damage from interrupted updates.

General Questions

We typically ship orders within 1-3 business days. Delivery times vary by location, but usually range from 3-7 business days within the continental United States. International shipping is currently not available.
