How It Works
ChargeLink uses a unique approach to establish a data connection over standard charging pins:
Technical Operation
- Connect the USB-C port to your computer
- Connect the USB-A port to your device's charging port
- The UART chip processes data from your computer
- This signal is sent through the charging pins to the device
- The device interprets this signal as firmware data
- Firmware is transferred through the standard charging connection
By utilizing the charging pins for data transfer, ChargeLink eliminates the need for special programming interfaces or connectors. This makes it an ideal solution for updating firmware on devices that don't have dedicated programming ports, or when traditional programming methods are impractical.
